No more will the cool icy air
claim his smell, the bull moose
now taken by humanities never
ending smog, his taste is nothingness
Laughter surrounds his ears but yet
his face bares no smile, blundering
along the path, flanked by deep
walls of stone, smooth as a light dusting of snow on a mountains peek.
The Bull moose hears a babies cry in the distance, as well as a birds song.
Explanation: In my writing I tried to describe the atmosphere using the senses of the bull moose and sight I tried to express the tone as well, I attempted to connect the innocence of nature(birds) with the innocence of man (a baby), I chose mostly a negative ending but if you think deeply enough it is a happy ending because hope is still being described by the innocence, which can be interpreted as hopelessness as well.
